Dynamic Range

Businesses can precisely create aspheric and free-form shapes with PZT Labs’ piezo-driven FTS systems. Our Ultra High-Speed FTS can run across speeds from 0 to 20,000 Hz, helping manufacturers to increase production, while our High-Travel FTS can machine depths up to 800 µm allowing customers to create an array of shapes and patterns with the same machine. PZT Labs’ Fast Tool Servos can also cut a variety of materials, including brass, copper, aluminum, nickel and plastics at speeds up to 6,000 rpm.

Precision

Our piezo-driven fast tool servos cutting systems are extremely precise and use instant feedback to provide positional accuracy up to 8 nm and 12 nm optical surface finishing.

Reliability

There are currently more than 100 PZT Labs’ Fast Tool Servos systems operating around the world. The piezoelectric technology at the core of our systems make our FTS extremely reliable with minimal maintenance requirements. This translates to less pauses in production for repairs.
